Carluke Primrose were delighted to have been invited once again to share their Christmas Concert with the Choir of St Mary's Church in Lanark on Sunday 16th December.

Both the Orchestra and the Choir showcased a wide selection of pieces, culminating in a joint performance of the carol O Holy Night.

The Primrose Youth Group consisting of Zachary, Beth, Jess, Ellie & Christopher also performed, some of them for the first time in public.

Together the Choir and the Orchestra raised a fantastic £1,120 to help homeless people in Glasgow, with all proceeds donated to The Wayside Club. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all who came along and were so generous. We’re sure this donation will make the Christmas season a little brighter for some of the country's most vulnerable people.

...and for those who are interested, Bryan Wood won the prize for the best Christmas jumper!
